Built for Australian sole traders

Invoicing that speaks Australian tax

Send invoices, track expenses and receipts, reconcile your bank. Bilbee turns the day-to-day into a Simpler BAS worksheet and an EOFY pack your accountant can work straight from.

Free for your first 5 invoices a month. No card needed.

Bilbee dashboard showing income, outstanding invoices, tax set-aside estimates and recent activity.

Get paid faster

Card payments, reminders that go out for you on a paid plan, and a link your client can pay from their phone.

Tax time without the panic

GST, BAS and TPAR built from what you already recorded. Review it, don't build it.

Everything in one place

Invoices, quotes, expenses, time and bank reconciliation, without the weight or price of a full accounting suite.

Made for Australian tax

ATO vocabulary, Australian dates and money, and plain-English explanations wherever the jargon appears.

Everything in one place

The work, the receipts and the tax. One place.

Built around what a one-person business actually does in a week, not around a chart of accounts.

Invoices and quotes that get paid

Branded invoices, hosted pay pages, card payments through your own Stripe, recurring retainers and online quote approval, plus automatic reminders on Standard and Pro.

Expenses without the shoebox

On Standard and Pro, forward a receipt email and Bilbee drafts the expense. Import your bank CSV and match payments to invoices in a few clicks.

Tax time, sorted

GST and Simpler BAS from your real records, TPAR generated, and an EOFY pack with the invoice register, payments ledger, credit notes and a deductions summary.

Invoices and quotes

Invoices that get paid, without the chasing

Build it in a minute with your own branding and GST worked out. Clients open a link, pay by card or transfer, and on Standard and Pro Bilbee sends the reminders for you.

  • Hosted invoice and quote pages your clients can pay or approve from
  • Card payments through your own Stripe account, surcharge optional
  • Automatic reminders, late fees and customer statements on your terms, on Standard and Pro
  • Recurring retainers that bill themselves, plus auto-send and scheduled sends on Pro
  • Credit notes and a reusable product catalogue

Turn time into invoices

On Pro, a timer, a day view and your Google Calendar overlaid so you can log the billable bits. Pick the hours, and they become an invoice.

Forward the receipt, we draft the expense

On Standard and Pro, your account gets its own receipts address. Forward the email and Bilbee reads the merchant, amount and GST into a draft expense for you to check.

Your accountant, included

Invite your accountant for free, read-only access to your books. No exports, no shoebox, no extra seat to pay for.

Tax time

Built for Australian tax, not bolted on.

Most invoicing apps were built somewhere else and had GST added later. Bilbee starts from the ATO's forms and works backwards to your invoices.

See what's in the pack

General guidance from your own records. Your accountant has the final word.

Simpler BAS

G1, 1A and 1B on a cash basis, with GST-free and export sales split out.

EOFY accountant pack

Invoice register, payments ledger, credit notes and TPAR in one export.

TPAR generated

Taxable payments reported from your contractor spend, not typed in.

Set aside as you go

A running estimate of GST and income tax, so June isn't a surprise.

Instant asset write-off

Assets tracked per item with the threshold rules for the current FY.

Jargon, translated

A deduction guide and hover-to-explain on every tax term, in plain English.

How it works

Three steps, and the paperwork does itself

01

Sign up with your ABN

Tell Bilbee whether you're GST registered and how you like your invoices to look. That's the setup.

02

Send your first invoice

Pick a client, add a line, send. Bilbee tracks what you're owed, and on a paid plan chases it for you.

03

Hand your accountant the pack

Come July, your BAS summaries, registers and receipts are in one export. Invite your accountant and get on with the work.

Questions

The things people ask before they sign up

Something else? Email support@getbilbee.com and a person answers.

Is it really just for sole traders?

Yes. Bilbee is built for one person who does the work and the books: tradies, consultants, creatives, drivers, allied health. If you have an ABN and invoice clients, it fits.

Do I need to be GST registered?

No. Tell Bilbee whether you're registered and it handles GST either way, including the $75k threshold watch so you know when it's worth talking to your accountant. If you drive for a ride-share or taxi service, the ATO requires GST registration from your first trip.

Can my accountant get in?

Yes, for free. Invite them and they get read-only access to your books plus the EOFY pack. One accountant can look after many Bilbee clients.

How do card payments work?

Through your own Stripe account. Clients pay on the hosted invoice page and the money lands with you directly. Bilbee never holds it.

Is my data private?

Every account's records are isolated at the database level, not just in the app. Your books are yours, and you can export everything at any time.

Can I import my bank transactions?

Yes. Import a CSV from your bank and match payments against invoices in a few clicks. Your client list comes across the same way, from a CSV or a Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks export. Past invoices don't come across yet; most people start fresh at the beginning of a quarter.

Less admin. More time for your business.

Add your business details, send an invoice, record an expense. The estimate does the rest.
